By accepting these terms and conditions you agree and expressly consent to being contacted by BHR, LLC using an automatic telephone dialing system to receive autodialed, prerecorded calls and text messages to any applicable wireless telephone number.

Telephone Monitoring and Recording

We may listen to and record your telephone calls with us. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that we monitor and record telephone conversations whether you or we initiate the telephone call.

Errors and Unauthorized Transactions

Refund Policy

In the event where a refund is requested and warranted, we will refund within (30) days of the original transaction date.

Balanced Healthcare Receivables, LLC (BHR, LLC) provides its debtors the ability to receive text communications regarding account status updates, including the ability to pay their bill online.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.

If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text “HELP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “HELP” to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.

State and Federal Regulations

 

ARIZONA

Within five days after the Initial communication with the debtor, a collection agency shall obtain, and be able to inform the debtor of: the name of the creditor; the time and place of the creation of the debt; the merchandise, services, or other value provided in exchange for the debt; and the. date when the account was turned over to the collection agency by the creditor. A collection agency shall give the debtor access to any of the collection agency’s records that contain the information listed above.

 

CALIFORNIA

The state Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act require that, except under unusual circumstances, collectors may not contact you before, 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. They may not harass you by using threats of violence or arrest or by using obscene language. Collectors may not use false or misleading statements or call you at work if they know or have reason to know that you may not receive personal calls at work. For the most part, collectors may not tell another person, other than your attorney or spouse, about your debt. Collectors may contact another person to confirm your location or enforce a judgment. Important Notice

(a) If the debtor pays or agrees to pay the debt or any portion of the debt, the payment or agreement to pay may be construed as:

(1) An acknowledgment of the debt by the debtor; and

(2) A waiver by the debtor of any applicable statute of limitations set forth in NRS 11.190 that otherwise precludes the collection of the debt; and

(2B) If the debtor does not understand or has questions concerning his or her legal rights or obligations relating to the debt, the debtor should seek legal advice.

(3) As used in this section, “hospital” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 449.012.

 

NEW YORK

(1) Debt collectors, in accordance With the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C.§ 1692 e.t seq., are prohibited from engaging in abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection efforts, including but not limited to:
